Covers act playing great dancing rock and pop tunes from the 1940s to the present day, with a focus on the 1960s and 1970s.
Wiggy Stardust and the Ciders from Jars are at The Brickmakers tomorrow, Friday 23 October, for a free rock night. It's a covers set that pulls from the 1950s right through to now, with a good chunk of the 60s and 70s in there, so you'll hear a fair few of the old favourites. They describe themselves as playing great dancing tunes to get your toes tapping, and they've got the audience's all-time favourites from across the decades on the list, with that particular focus on rock and pop from the sixties and seventies. Keyboardist Mel Stevens rounds out the sound.
If you're not around for this one, they're back in the city on 1 November, and they'll be headlining The Brickmakers' New Year's Eve show on 31 December, which runs from 9:30pm to 1:00am. That one starts from £11.00, including the booking fee. So tomorrow is one of three times they'll be playing Norwich in the run-up to the end of the year.
