Tribute band to Foo Fighters plays the greatest hits, stadium anthems and deep cuts across three decades of the band's music.
UK Foo Fighters are playing Creative Quarter Over the Water on Friday 23 October, their set running from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. They're a tribute to the Foo Fighters and to Dave Grohl's following, and they've spent the last 18 years building a reputation that's landed them in Classic Rock, Rolling Stone, Kerrang, NME, Q, MOJO and Planet Rock. Dave Grohl himself has heralded them, and a 2017 BBC documentary called UK Foo Fighters - My Hero celebrated them as 'THE' tribute to the Foo Fighters.
As for the set, they describe it as playing all the greatest hits, stadium anthems, new songs and deep cuts across three decades of the band's music. That's a fair bit of ground to cover, from the early records to the more recent stuff, with the big singalongs and the lesser-known tracks sitting alongside each other. It's a full evening's worth of material rather than just a handful of the well-known ones.
