Weekly vinyl night at The Plough pub where guests listen to full albums and can bring their own records for a complimentary drink.
Turntable Tuesday is back at The Plough on Tuesday 3 November, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It's a weekly vinyl night, so if you've missed the last few, this is one of the regular slots you can drop into. The whole thing is built around a love of vinyl and great music: throughout the night, guests listen to full albums spanning every genre, rather than just a run of singles. It's a long-player kind of evening, so come prepared to settle in.
The best part is that it's not just a passive listen. You're encouraged to bring along your own records, and if your selection is chosen to play, you get a complimentary drink. It's a good excuse to dig through your shelves for something you've been meaning to share, and it means the music changes depending on who turns up. Whether it's a classic you know inside out or something a bit more out of left field, the night is as much about the records people bring as the ones already on the decks.

The Plough itself is a lively pub on St Benedict's Street, and the building has been trading as one for more than 200 years. It's owned by Grain, an independent local brewery established in 2006. The pub is dog-friendly, with a large beer garden that becomes a hotspot for summer garden parties, street food pop-ups and DJs, and a cosy interior with outdoor heaters when the weather turns. On a Tuesday night in November, you'll be inside, with the heaters on and the records spinning. It runs from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at 58 St Benedict's Street, NR2 4AR.
