A live interactive poetry experience for children, with award-winning poets and engaging games, followed by book sales and a signing with the author.
Attie Lime brings TOASTies to The Auditorium on Tuesday 27 October, as part of the Norwich Book Festival 2026. It's a live interactive poetry show for children, and the whole thing is built around getting the kids involved rather than just sitting them in a row to listen.
The session pairs award-winning poets with engaging games for children, so the poetry is woven into the activities rather than standing on its own. It's designed as an interactive experience, meaning the audience plays a part in what happens on stage. When the show finishes, there are book sales and a signing with the author, so you can pick up a copy and get it signed there and then.
It's one of the sessions within the wider Norwich Book Festival 2026, which runs from 24 to 30 October across the city. The festival brings together a whole programme of writers and events over the week, and this one is aimed at the younger end of the crowd. If you've got kids who enjoy poetry, or just a good story told out loud, this is the one to keep on your radar.
