A soulful tribute concert by XPERIENCE LIVE with a vocalist and live band covering Luther Vandross's greatest hits in a candlelit setting.
The Music of Luther Vandross comes to The Halls on Saturday 9 January 2027, a tribute concert to one of R&B's most beloved legends. Vandross is remembered for his rich tones, emotional depth and a songbook of love songs, and this evening is built around that legacy. It's presented by XPERIENCE LIVE, and it's a tribute only: it isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Luther Vandross's estate or his representatives.
The show is billed as 'A Soulful Tribute Under the Glow of Candlelight', and that's where the setting comes in — the room is lit by candlelight rather than the usual stage lights. A vocalist fronts a live band, and they'll be working through Vandross's greatest hits. The set includes 'Never Too Much', 'Dance with My Father', 'Here and Now', 'So Amazing', 'A House Is Not a Home', 'If Only for One Night', 'Stop to Love' and 'The Power of Love / Love Power'.
