Halloween special from the skifflegrass trio The Misfit Collective, mixing bluegrass, metal and banjo at the riverside pub Gibraltar Gardens.
The Misfit Collective are playing Gibraltar Gardens on Saturday 31 October, with the set running from 20:30 to 23:00. It's billed as a Halloween Special, so it falls right on the night.
The Collective are a trio who call their style 'skifflegrass' — a mix of bluegrass and metal with a tinge of banjo. They describe themselves as a trio of banjo-strumming, bass-twanging, tub-thumping gentlemen, and their whole thing is taking a very well-known song and adding something 'skiffley' to it. They've played all types of live music for years, so they're well-used to the stage.

Gibraltar Gardens is a riverside pub at 288 Heigham Street, described as a family-based venue with inside and outside seating and dog-friendly grounds. It's soon to offer food, and until then customers can order in. The music runs from 20:30 to 23:00 on Saturday 31 October.
