A festive day at the Norwich Arts Centre with a Christmas shop, cakes and savouries, plus free art and music workshops and masks.
Stepping Stones are taking over the Norwich Arts Centre on Saturday 28 November for their Christmas Fair, a full day of festive things to do in the heart of the city. It opens at 11:00, and the whole day is built around a few different things running side by side, so you can pick your own way through it rather than following a set schedule.
There's a Christmas shop for the early presents, and a spread of cakes and savouries to keep you going. The creative side takes up a good chunk of the day: free art and music workshops that you can drop into, and masks to make. If you're not usually one for workshops, the cakes and the shopping are enough of a reason to stop by on their own.
It's a Saturday morning start, so it works as a proper day out rather than a quick pop-in. You can spend an hour or two with the workshops and the shop, or stay for the whole thing and work your way through the cakes and the crafts. It's all under one roof at the NAC, which makes it easy to drift between the different bits without having to move on.
