Stand-up show by Taskmaster champion Sophie Duker, bringing her 2026-2027 tour 'Hot Beef Injection' to Norwich.
Sophie Duker brings her new stand-up show Hot Beef Injection to the Norwich Playhouse on Saturday 27 February 2027. It's part of her 2026-2027 tour, which also played the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe.
If you're not familiar, Duker is a Taskmaster champion and an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee who describes herself as a retired sugar daughter. Hot Beef Injection is the show where she gets both sexy and political, working with the subversive yet inclusive comedy style that's become her signature. She takes on hypermasculinity, heavy-handed handymen, and the old chestnut 'Would You Rather: Man or Bear?', and reckons with the primal fear driving her distrust of heterosexual he/hims.
Critics have called her a 'comedic powerhouse' and a 'fresh and charming voice', with reviews describing the work as 'fierce and fun', 'wittily flip', and on the best form of her career. It's the kind of set that doesn't shy away from the political side of things, but keeps it inclusive and funny along the way.
