Tribute show to Ghost by Popestars, with BYOB, at The Brickmakers in Norwich.
Popestars bring their Ghost tribute to The Brickmakers on Saturday 31 October, with BYOB on the bill too. It's a Halloween night, so the date fits the theme as well as the music does.
Popestars focus on Ghost, the Swedish band known for their theatrical approach to occult rock and their rotating cast of Nameless Ghouls. If you're not familiar, Ghost blends heavy riffs with pop sensibilities and a fair bit of church organ, all wrapped up in a whole lot of costume and ceremony. Popestars take on that sound, and they're sharing the bill with BYOB, so there's more than one act to get through over the course of the evening.
It's all happening at The Brickmakers, one of Norwich's most established venues. It's a big spot with three stages: the main stage, which mostly hosts local cover bands and usually has free entry; the B2 venue, a grassroots space for up-and-coming acts across metal, rock, pop, punk and folk; and an outside stage used during the summer. The venue runs a wide programme of tribute acts, open mic nights, quizzes and blues nights, and this show forms part of its tribute band nights.

The night runs from 19:00 to 23:00, so it's a full evening rather than a quick set. You'll find The Brickmakers at 496 Sprowston Road, NR3 4DY, and with the music going until 11pm, it's a good one to clear your Saturday night for.
