Indie-folk night with Zurich's Pina Palau, solo act Lou Terry and yer blooze at The Holloway, an 18+ event.
Pina Palau is playing The Holloway on Saturday 24 October, with Lou Terry and yer blooze on the bill. The night is presented by The Holloway Norwich, and it's an 18+ event.
Palau is a Zürich-based indie-folk musician who writes songs like diary entries with a guitar, moving between folk, indie and Americana. She describes her songs as being about longing, confusion and the things left unsaid between two people — the kind of quiet, personal territory that usually works best in a room like this. It's a singer-songwriter set in the tradition of folk and indie rock, with the guitar doing most of the heavy lifting.
She's joined on the bill by Lou Terry, playing solo, and yer blooze, so you've got three acts in one evening rather than just one. Between the three of them, the night covers a fair bit of ground across the indie and folk spectrum, with Palau's particular blend of Americana and indie-folk at the centre of it.
