Free gig by (Not The Story) ...Morning Glory?, East Anglia's Oasis tribute band, on the main stage at The Brickmakers.
(Not The Story) ...Morning Glory? play The Brickmakers on Saturday 14 November, starting at 8pm. They're an Oasis tribute, and they describe themselves as East Anglia's number one Oasis tribute band, or 'Norfolk's Finest Oasis Tribute'.
They'll be on the main stage, which is where the venue usually puts local covers bands. If you've never been, The Brickmakers is one of Norwich's most well-known venues, and it's got three stages: the main one, the B2 venue — a grassroots space for up-and-coming acts across metal, rock, pop, punk and folk — and an outside stage used during the summer. The programme runs from tribute acts and open mic nights to quizzes and blues nights, and the venue also runs the Norfolk Blues Society.
The tribute scene there covers a fair few decades and bands. On the Iron Maiden front, there's Maiden Anglia and Children Of The Damned. Cydonia Knights do Muse, Popestars do Ghost, A.S.O.F do Pink Floyd, Chemistry do Rush, Hammer To Fall do Queen, Moretallica do Metallica, Thin Lizzish do Thin Lizzy, Rattus Inheritus do The Stranglers, and The Pogue Traders do The Pogues. (Not The Story) ...Morning Glory? fits right in with that lot.
