Stand-up show 'Born Aggy', Laura Smyth's 2026 tour, at the Norwich Theatre.
Laura Smyth brings her new show Born Aggy to Norwich Theatre on Friday 23 October, part of her 2026 live comedy tour. It follows her debut, Living My Best Life, which played to sell-out crowds and got a good reception from the critics.
Smyth's rise has been quick. She's supported Jack Whitehall, Michelle de Swarte, Alan Davies and Jason Manford, and has appeared on panel shows like QI, Would I Lie To You?, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Live At The Apollo twice. The show draws on her everyday, ever-changing life, and the title comes from the idea that she was just 'born aggy' — 'aggy' being short for aggressive, in a way that's more about a certain energy than anything else.
There's a bit more to the material than just the daily grind, too. Smyth has beaten cancer and explored alternative healing, and she brings those things into the set. She describes the show as being delivered with truth, warmth and hilarity, so it's not all just jokes — there's a fair bit of her own life in there, told with a bit of a wink.
