The original Tony Award-winning musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons comes to Norwich on its 20th Anniversary UK Tour.
Jersey Boys comes to Norwich Theatre Royal from Tuesday 30 March to Saturday 3 April 2027, as part of its 20th Anniversary UK Tour. It's the Tony Award-winning musical that follows the true rags-to-riches story of Frankie Valli and the original Four Seasons — Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.
The show starts with four working-class boys from New Jersey who form a band, create a distinctive sound and hit the charts, all while dealing with loyalty, conflict, money problems and family pressures. It's written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. Over the years it's picked up the Tony in New York, the Olivier in London and the Helpmann in Australia for Best New Musical, along with 65 other major awards. More than 30 million people have seen it worldwide. It opened in New York on 6 November 2005 and closed on 15 January 2017, making it the 12th longest-running show in Broadway history, after nine years in the West End.
