Strictly 16+ death metal night with Ceremonial Bloodbath and Cryptworm at Deadwax, presented by Phage Records.
Ceremonial Bloodbath and Cryptworm play Deadwax on Tuesday 20 October, as part of the Infectious Entropy Tour. The night is presented by Phage Records, and it's strictly 16+, with under-18s needing to be accompanied by an adult.
Ceremonial Bloodbath come from Vancouver, Canada, and their sound pulls from death metal, black metal and war metal. It's a long way to travel for a Tuesday night in Norwich, so this is one of the few chances to catch them on this side of the Atlantic. They're the headliners here, and the tour title, Infectious Entropy, gives you a fair idea of the territory they're working in.
Opening for them is Cryptworm, a rancid death metal band from Leeds. They've been around since 2014, and they describe themselves as growing ever more furious and vile since then. Between the two of them, the bill covers a fair stretch of the heavier end of the spectrum, from the black and war metal leanings of the Canadians to the death metal of the Leeds outfit.
