Glamtastics - Glam Rock Sounds of the 70s

Glamtastics are playing Sprowston Sports and Social Club on Saturday 24 October, with the set running from 20:30 to 23:00. They're a glam rock tribute band, and they bill the night as 'Glam Rock Sounds of the 70s', so you'll be hearing the classics from that era rather than anything new.

If you're not familiar with the venue, it's a committee-run club on Blue Boar Lane in Norwich, NR7 8RY, staffed by volunteers and supported by its members. It's a proper social club with a large function room for the music, a members-only area, and a fair bit of sport on site: a football pitch, a lawn bowls green, a petanque court, a pool table and dart boards. They book live music almost every other Saturday and Sunday afternoon, usually drawing on local talent, and run various musical events throughout the year.

Booking is required for this one, so it's worth getting your name down in advance. Entry is free for members and £4 for non-members. The music starts at 20:30 and runs until 23:00.
