Folk music festival with Chris Hoddy, Broken Maps, South of Polaris, The Gillies, Sarah Smith, ShuQRoots and The Browns at the Peasants' Tavern.
Folk Explosion Live takes over Peasants' Tavern in Norwich on Saturday 7 November, a full day of folk music running from 12:00 through to 22:30. It's a long one, so you can drop in for a few acts or settle in for the whole run.
Chris Hoddy opens the day, playing folk with guests joining him on stage. Broken Maps follow, keeping to folk, and then South of Polaris brings in flamenco alongside the folk. The Gillies add country to the mix, and Sarah Smith returns to folk. ShuQRoots plays Irish folk, and The Browns round out the bill. It's a wide stretch of the genre — from the traditional Irish side of things to the flamenco and country crossovers — all on the same stage.

With the music starting at midday and going until half-ten, there's plenty of room to pick your favourite spots. If you're only in for a few hours, you can catch the early folk sets and head off, or stick around for the Irish folk and the later acts. It's a long day of music in one room, and the line-up runs from 12:00 to 22:30 at Peasants' Tavern.
