Free ukulele jam session by Fine City Strummers at The Brickmakers in Sprowston.
Fine City Strummers are hosting a ukulele jam session at The Brickmakers on Sunday 18 October, from 19:00 to 21:00. It's a jam, so it's as much about playing as it is about listening — if you've got a uke, you're welcome to bring it along and get involved.
The Brickmakers is one of Norwich's most well-known venues, and it's a bit of a multi-tasker. It runs three stages: the main stage, which mostly hosts local covers bands and usually keeps entry free; the B2 venue, a grassroots space for up-and-coming acts from across the country — mostly metal and rock, but pop, punk and folk crop up too; and an outside stage that comes into play during the summer. This session sits on the main stage, so it's in the part of the building that's most often open to local bands.

If you're not playing, it's still a good spot to just hang out and listen to a room full of ukuleles going at once. The session runs for two hours, from 19:00 to 21:00, and entry is free. You'll find The Brickmakers at 496 Sprowston Road, NR3 4DY.
