Candlelit Grand Gong Gathering, a ceremonial sound immersion guided by meditation, held in the ancient stone walls of St Andrew's Hall.
Echoes of the Ancients returns to St Andrew's Hall on Sunday 13 December, the second of two dates in this year's edition. It's a candlelit gong sound journey run by The Seed of Change Wellbeing, whose mantra is 'Wellness Within. Growth Beyond.'
The session is a ceremonial sound immersion focused on illumination, release and deep nervous system restoration. You lie down and let the vibrations of a collection of gongs move through your body, guided by meditation. Unlike the organiser's other sessions, this isn't a yoga-based experience; it's a sonic sanctuary that asks only for your presence, set in a collective field of sound, an ancient space and lunar energy. The two gatherings of the second edition each have their own theme: 'Remembering who you are' in June and 'Remember when the light returns' in December.
The venue is St Andrew's Hall, and the organiser describes it as a room that has carried centuries of prayer, music and human gathering within its ancient stone walls. The sound itself lasts about 60 minutes, with an optional 30-minute reflection window afterwards.
