Family drawing session with author-illustrator Rob Biddulph, recreating his illustrations from 'South' and 'The Last Wolf' for children and grown-ups.
Rob Biddulph is coming to Norwich Theatre Playhouse on Tuesday 27 October, for a family drawing session that runs from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you've seen his #DrawWithRob videos online, this is the live version: he'll be leading the room through one of his illustrations, with children and adults drawing along together.
The session works around two of his books. There's South, the picture book that follows Pip the goose and his flock on their epic journey south for winter, and The Last Wolf, a chapter book in which four friends encounter a werewolf. He'll be talking through them and then guiding everyone through the drawing part, so you'll get to see how he builds his images from the page up.
Biddulph is a New York Times bestselling and multi award-winning author and illustrator, and the creative force behind those #DrawWithRob videos. He was named Illustrator of the Year at the British Book Awards (the Nibbies) in 2025 and served as the official World Book Day Illustrator between 2019 and 2021. The hour runs without an interval and is recommended for ages five and over, so it's a good one to bring the kids along to.
