Karaoke night with normal, themed and stick-and-twist sessions at The Walnut Tree Shades in Norwich.
Coyote Karaoke is taking over The Walnut Tree Shades on Sunday 25 October, from 4pm to 8pm. It's a late-afternoon session, so it's one of those things you can do before the evening really gets going rather than making a late night of it.
What sets this apart from your usual pub karaoke is the variety they offer. Coyote Karaoke runs three different formats: normal, themed, and stick-and-twist. The normal one is what you'd expect—you pick your track and take the mic. The themed nights narrow the field to a specific era or style, and stick-and-twist is the more unpredictable version, where you're handed a random song on a slip of paper and have to make it work on the spot. Depending on the night, you might find yourself singing a song you've known for years or something you've never heard before.
Beyond the sessions themselves, there's a bit more to the operation. They're always taking bookings and looking for new venues, so if you're running a pub or a club in Norwich and fancy bringing this in, it's worth getting in touch. It's a working business as much as a night out, and they're actively expanding across the city.
