Country music 'Musician's Music Night' where attendees bring their own instruments to play with local musicians, hosted by Mike Delph.
Country Music Band Night is back at St Faiths Centre on Tuesday 10 November, from 20:00 to 22:30. It's a regular night that runs throughout the autumn and winter, so if you can't make this one, there are plenty more to choose from: it also runs on 24 November and 8 December, and then continues into the new year on 12 and 26 January.
It's worth knowing what this actually is before you turn up, because it's not an open mic. It's described as a 'Musician's Music Night' rather than a spot for solo turns. The idea is that you bring your own instrument and play country music alongside other musicians from Norwich and Norfolk, all in a friendly and comfortable venue. It's not for people who turn up with backing tracks, so if you're planning to play, make sure you've got your instrument with you. That said, you don't have to be one of the players to get involved — you're just as welcome to join in as you are to simply sit back and listen.

Mike Delph hosts the night and provides the PA, which keeps things running smoothly. The venue is St Faiths Centre on Manor Road, NR10 3LF, in Norwich. It's a free night, so there's no charge to attend. If you're a country player looking for a regular spot to jam with other local musicians, or if you just fancy an evening of country music without having to pay for a ticket, this is one to keep on your radar. The next one is Tuesday 10 November, 20:00 to 22:30, at St Faiths Centre.
