corto.alto + Terra Kin

corto.alto plays EPIC Studios on Tuesday 24 November, part of the Round Midnight series. The night is a double bill, with Terra Kin opening.

If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's because corto.alto is a one-man band. Behind it is Liam Shortall, a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer who handles everything himself on stage. He's had a busy couple of years: he was named Breakthrough Artist at the AIM Awards in London and closed 2025 with a sold-out show at KOKO. This year he's played more than 40 shows across the US and Europe, including slots at We Out Here, WOMAD and Montreal Jazz Fest. The Norwich date is part of that same UK and European tour, presented by Round Midnight.

There's new music to hear too. He's released WHODIS with Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins and the single THIEF, so the set will draw on those alongside his earlier work. The Norwich show is one of many stops on this tour, which takes him across the UK and Europe.

Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm at EPIC Studios, inside the Norwich Arts Centre on St Benedicts Street. Tickets are £22 for Supporters and £25 in advance.
