Pop-up charity Christmas card and gift shop supporting over 200 national and local causes, with festive gifts, decorations and prize draws.
Cards for Good Causes returns to The Gallery at The Forum from Wednesday 4 November, running through to Monday 21 December. It's a pop-up Christmas shop that opens Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and Sundays from 11am to 4pm, so you've got plenty of time to wander through whenever it suits you.
The main draw is the charity Christmas cards, which support over 200 national and local causes. If you're the type who still sends a proper card to everyone on your list, it's a convenient way to tick that off while knowing the money goes somewhere useful. Beyond the cards, the shop stocks calendars, Advent calendars, wrapping paper, stationery, festive gifts, and decorations, so you can pick up the rest of your Christmas bits in one go. They also run prize draws throughout the season.
There's a bit of history behind it, too. Cards for Good Causes is a not-for-profit charity card and gift retailer with more than 60 years of history, and it's raised over £40 million for good causes across the UK in the last ten years alone. Its previous edition here at The Forum brought in more than £40,000 for charity, so it's a well-established part of the city's festive run-up.
