Heavy metal singer Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden vocalist, plays The Brickmakers in Norwich with unreserved standing.
Blaze Bayley plays The Brickmakers on Thursday 22 October, with the set billed as The Iron Maiden Years. It's a specific look back at the period he spent fronting Iron Maiden, rather than a career-spanning overview.
Bayley, born Bayley Alexander Cooke in Birmingham in 1963, is an English heavy metal singer and songwriter and a Metal Hall of Fame inductee. He fronted Wolfsbane from 1984 before replacing Bruce Dickinson as Iron Maiden's lead vocalist in 1994. He recorded X-Factor and Virtual XI and toured the world with the band until 1999. Since then he's released 14 studio albums, including Silicon Messiah (2000), Tenth Dimension (2003), Blood And Belief (2005), The Man Who Would Not Die (2008), and the 2024 album Circle Of Stone. He's known as one of the hardest-working touring artists in metal, backed by a settled band drawn from Absolva, and has toured the UK, Europe, North America and Latin America.
