Pop-punk and folk gig by five-piece Black Water County at The Adrian Flux Waterfront Studio.
Black Water County play The Adrian Flux Waterfront Studio on Saturday 17 October, their only Norwich date that autumn. They're a five-piece who have been mashing their own brew of pop-punk and folk since 2013, drawing on their favourite punk bands alongside a long affinity for folk legends.
They've put out three albums so far, all released independently and produced and mixed by Lewis Johns of The Ranch. The first, Taking Chances, came out in 2017, followed by Comedies and Tragedies in 2020 and The Only Life Worth Living in 2023, which featured guest vocalist Hannah Greenwood of Creeper. The single 'Rise and Fall' landed them a spot on BBC radio.
They've played UK festivals including Cropredy, WOMAD, Boomtown, Belladrum, Black Deer and Camp Bestival, and toured Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and France. In 2016 and 2018 they won a place on Fireball's 'Fuelling the Fire Tour' supporting Less Than Jake, Flogging Molly, The Bronx and The Skints, and landed a stage with Flogging Molly.
