Award-winning cult cabaret tribute to the music, fans and mythology of Kate Bush, returning to Norwich after selling out its previous visit.
An Evening Without Kate Bush returns to Norwich Theatre Royal on Friday 19 March 2027, after selling out its previous visit to the city. It's an award-winning cult cabaret that pays tribute to the music, the fans and the mythology of Kate Bush, one of the most influential voices in British music.
The show leans on her biggest hits, including 'Running Up That Hill', 'Cloudbusting' and 'The Man With The Child In His Eyes', and is billed as perfect for anyone 'ready to run up that hill' — a nod to the iconic 1985 single. It's a cabaret rather than a straight cover set, so it looks at the whole world around her as much as the songs themselves.
Critics have called it 'spellbinding' (The Daily Telegraph) and 're-inventing the tribute act' (The Stage), and The Scotsman noted that you don't need to be a Kate Bush fan to be transported by it. It's a show that works for the people who know every B-side as well as for those who only know the big ones.
