The Script - Man In The Arena

The Script are playing Utilita Arena Newcastle on Thursday 5 November, part of their UK and Ireland arena tour that set out in October. They're touring their new album, The User's Guide To Being Human, which came out on 14 August 2026. The lead single from it is 'Man In The Arena', the song that's given the tour its name.

It's a long-running career they're drawing from. They've had six number one albums in the UK and eight in Ireland, with more than 14 billion streams and 5 million albums sold. There are plenty of international Platinum certifications behind them, including two US Platinum singles and two US Top 10 albums. The new record is the latest addition to that run, and the tour is taking it across the UK and Ireland.

So, the set will be built around The User's Guide To Being Human, with 'Man In The Arena' as the first taste of it. The show starts at 7:00 PM at Utilita Arena Newcastle on Thursday 5 November.
