Stand-up comedy show HAPPY by Paul Smith, marking the biggest and boldest show of his career.
Paul Smith brings his new show Happy to Utilita Arena on Saturday 24 October, with the performance starting at 6:00pm. It's the Newcastle date of a massive tour that's hitting the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, and it's billed as the biggest and boldest show of his career so far.
Smith is a Liverpudlian stand-up who's built a name on crowd work, razor-sharp observations and true stories that land with a laugh. Happy is the next step after a run of sold-out shows and viral success across the globe, and he's taking those trademark elements to a new level: fast, fearless and relentlessly funny, with plenty of outrageous audience interaction and stories pulled straight from real life. If you've seen him before, you'll know the crowd work is a big part of the night, and that's exactly what he's leaning into here.

It's a solo show, so it's just Paul Smith on stage for the full run. The tour is his biggest to date, taking the set through the UK and then across several continents, so the Newcastle stop is one of many on a global circuit. Tickets start from £35.00, and the show kicks off at 6:00pm at Utilita Arena, Arena Way, NE4 7NA.
