Donny Osmond brings the high-energy glamour of his award-winning Las Vegas show to the Utilita Arena Newcastle on his Viva UK Tour.
Donny Osmond plays Utilita Arena on Thursday 21 January 2027, as part of his Viva UK Tour. He's bringing his award-winning Las Vegas show to the arena, backed by a live band and eight dancers. There's also a request segment where the audience can pick any song from his 65 albums, so the setlist changes depending on what the crowd asks for.
Osmond has been working since he was five, when he first appeared on The Andy Williams Show. He became a teen idol in the 1970s as a solo act and with The Osmond Brothers, with hits like 'One Bad Apple', 'Puppy Love', 'Sweet and Innocent' and 'Go Away Little Girl'. This tour comes five decades after the height of 'Osmond Mania', and it also marks the 55th anniversary of 'Puppy Love', which hit number one in the UK.
Since those early days, he's moved into smooth jazz, with 'Breeze On By' appearing on his 54th album. The Viva UK Tour takes the format of his Las Vegas show — the live band, the dancers, and the request segment — and brings it to Britain. £1 from every ticket sold goes to LIVE Trust, which supports grassroots music in the UK.
