Festive Saturday breakfast with Santa and his elves at Colman's restaurant in Fenwick Newcastle, with under-2s free.
Breakfast with Santa returns to Fenwick Newcastle this December, with the first session on Saturday 5 December. It's a festive breakfast with Santa and his elves, held at Colman's restaurant on the first floor of the store.
It's one of the store's Christmas fixtures, and Fenwick leans on its own heritage when it talks about it: 'Christmas is a time for cherished traditions, and Santa on the Roof is one of ours.' This breakfast is the gentler sibling to that rooftop experience, which takes over the third floor and changes theme every year. That one is a whole production — an express elevator ride up to Santa's cosy cabin, festive crafting with the elves in his workshop, and a stop at Café Claus for mulled wine, spiced apple juice or hot chocolate paired with a classic mince pie. Around the city, Christmas in the North East, or 'the Toon', is built from festive markets, light trails and outdoor ice-skating, and Santa on the Roof is a sell-out every year and notoriously hard to get tickets for.

Breakfast with Santa runs every Saturday from 5 December, plus 21-24 December, so you've got plenty of dates to choose from across the month. Each session runs from 9:30am to 10:45am, making it a morning thing rather than a full-day commitment. It's £25 per person, and under-2s go free.
