The Living End perform live at NEX Newcastle, supported by Maple's Pet Dinosaur, on their 2026 regional tour.
The Living End play NEX in Newcastle on Saturday 1 August, part of a regional tour across New South Wales. They're supported by Maple's Pet Dinosaur, so the night starts with two bands on the bill.
The tour is built around I Only Trust Rock N Roll, their first album in eight years, which came out last September. It's a long gap between records, so the set will be the first time many of these songs have been played live. Frontman Chris Cheney has talked about the energy they bring to the stage, saying the hunger they had when the band first started still drives them. He's also noted that the new songs hit as hard as their older material, so the set should balance the new record with the songs that made them known.
