The Fremantle indie-pop trio San Cisco returns to the road with a regional run, performing new material and their 2024 album 'Under The Light'.
San Cisco play the King Street Bandroom on Thursday 26 November, part of a seven-date regional run across Queensland and New South Wales that finishes in Canberra. It's their first time back on the road in two years, so the Newcastle date is one of the first chances to catch them live since they've been away from regular touring.
The Fremantle indie-pop trio — Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens — are touring new material, and the set will feature the single 'Miles Away', which they describe as a song about being together yet alone. It follows their 2024 album Under The Light, so you'll hear the newer stuff alongside the songs that built their following on a sugary pop sound. Stevens is back on drums as a new mum, rounding out the line-up that's been the core of the band.
Coming from WA, they've spent the last couple of years off the touring circuit, so this run is their return to the stage. The Newcastle show is one stop in a regional tour that winds through Queensland and New South Wales before wrapping up in Canberra, with the band playing their own material throughout. It's a good time to catch them if you've been following the record since Under The Light came out in 2024, especially with the new single 'Miles Away' in the mix.
