Stand-up comedy show by award-winning comedian Rory Lowe exploring the struggles of planning a wedding.
Rory Lowe brings his new show Lowe Key Funny to the Newcastle Comedy Club on Saturday 7 August. It's a solo stand-up set from an award-winning Australian comedian, writer and online creator who's built a name on fearless storytelling and a manic stage presence.
If you've come across him online, you probably know him from the viral sketches on YeahMad and Aussie Peppa Pig, but he's as much a live act as a digital one, with sold-out tours across Australia and Asia. His style blends raw honesty with absurd, high-energy humour, and he's picked up a fair bit of recognition for it, including awards at Whats On A Dealide 2024, FringeFeed 2024 and Comedy NZ.
Lowe Key Funny is a raw, unfiltered look into the mind of a 'new man'. The show centres on the struggles of planning a wedding and becoming a husband while trying to hold onto a party lifestyle. It's that particular tension between stepping into a new chapter and not wanting to let go of the old one, told with the same high energy he brings to everything else.
