Surf rock band Ray and Paul perform live at the King Street Bandroom in Newcastle.
Ray and Paul are playing the King Street Bandroom in Newcastle on Friday 28 August, as part of Dice's The Altitude Tour. They're a surf rock band, and that's about the whole of it: reverb-drenched guitars and the kind of sound that sits comfortably with a summer afternoon by the coast. If you're not familiar with them, that's a good place to start.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. They're supporting Dice, who are headlining the tour, and Mid Drift is also on the lineup, so it's a full night of live music rather than a single act. Between the three, you'll get a good stretch of the evening covered, with the surf rock of Ray and Paul fitting right into the mix.

The show starts at 7:00 pm at the King Street Bandroom, so if you're heading in from across town, you've got plenty of time to get there and settle in before things kick off. It's a Friday night, so it's an easy one to build around.
