Seattle grunge pioneers Mudhoney return to Newcastle for one night only, with special guests Primitive Ring.
Mudhoney are back at the King Street Band Room on Saturday 10 October, their first Newcastle date in some time. They're playing as a one-night-only show, with Primitive Ring opening for them.
If you're not familiar, Mudhoney are Seattle grunge pioneers, and they're returning to Newcastle with more than three decades of influential alternative rock behind them. That's a long run, and the set is expected to reflect it: they'll be drawing from their early classics and working their way through to tracks from their latest album, Plastic Eternity. So you'll get the old stuff and the new in the same night.

It's a single date here, not part of a wider run of shows in the city, and Primitive Ring will be the special guests on the bill. The set will run from those early records through to Plastic Eternity, and since it's just the one night, it's the only chance to catch them in Newcastle this time around. The show is on Saturday 10 October at the King Street Band Room.
