Ladyhawke

Ladyhawke plays the King Street Bandroom on Friday 4 September, a one-off show in Newcastle. It's a synth-pop set, and the night is billed as one for fans of '80s-inflected pop and live synths done properly.

The set is expected to run through My Delirium, Paris Is Burning and Guilty Love, alongside deeper cuts from her catalogue. Those three are the songs most people will recognise, but the deeper cuts mean she'll be reaching further back into her records than a best-of set would. It's a good mix if you've followed her since the early days and if you're just coming in now.

Ladyhawke is the only act on the bill. The show starts at 8:00pm and is expected to finish around 9:00pm, so it's a relatively short night — in and out in about an hour. Tickets are A$57 via Oztix, and the venue is the King Street Bandroom at 15 Steel Street, Newcastle.
