Kate Ceberano returns for encore performances mixing her platinum hits with reimagined Australian classics in an outdoor beer garden setting.
Kate Ceberano is bringing the Australian Made Tour to the Toronto Hotel on Saturday 17 October, part of a run of encore performances following last year's sell-out tour and a live album. It's an outdoor, all-ages beer garden gig, so you can bring the whole family along for the afternoon and evening.
Ceberano describes the show as a guided tour through Australian music, mixing her own platinum hits with reimagined Oz classics. The songbook she's drawing from covers a fair bit of ground: I'm Talking, The Divinyls, Temper Trap, LRB, Skyhooks, INXS, Richard Clapton, Jimmy Barnes, Sia, Icehouse, RenΓ©e Geyer and Paul Kelly. Multi-instrumentalist Dusty Lee is also named as a special guest. Rockpit called it 'one of the best shows you will see this or any year'.
It's a full day of music rather than a single set. The support starts early, with Murray Byfield playing from 5.15 to 6.15 pm, Darren Rolling Keys taking over from 6.30 to 7.30 pm, and Kathleen Halloran on from 7.45 to 8.15 pm. Kate Ceberano then headlines from 8.30 to 10.00 pm, so if you arrive for the first act, you're in for nearly five hours of live music.
