Grunge rock show by Newcastle band Jetlag celebrating their new single 'Turbulence', with Molly's Garden, Glycerine and Citruss.
Jetlag are headlining the King Street Hotel on Sunday 18 October, with Molly's Garden, Glycerine and Citruss on the bill. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring the younger ones along if you're heading in with them.
The gig is a celebration of their new single, Turbulence, which follows their debut release Sight for Sore Eyes. They've been building a name for themselves around loud, high-energy live sets and a growing local following, and this is the latest date in that run.
If you haven't caught them yet, Jetlag are a teenage grunge rock band from Newcastle, formed in 2024. Chappy is on vocals and rhythm guitar, Toby on lead guitar, Reuben on bass and Cooper on drums. They're all between 16 and 17, and they've already picked up a few accolades, including winning Newcastle's Bandwidth competition in 2025.

Their sound draws from Silverchair, Violent Soho, Queens of the Stone Age and classic Aussie pub rock, and they describe it as gritty riffs and tight musicianship paired with emotionally charged songwriting and a commanding stage presence. It's a grunge-rock set, so expect it to lean into the louder side of things. With Molly's Garden, Glycerine and Citruss filling out the bill, there's plenty of music to get through before the headliners take the stage.
It all kicks off at 3:30 PM at the King Street Hotel, 15 Steel St, Newcastle.
