Icehouse performs their album 'Man of Colours' in full on their 40th Anniversary Tour, including rare tracks and hits like 'Great Southern Land'.
Icehouse are playing the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Saturday 5 June 2027, part of their Man of Colours 40th Anniversary Tour. It's their first headline indoor tour in more than 20 years, so it's a bit more of a rare one than their usual runs.
The whole night is built around Man of Colours, the ARIA Award-winning album that hit number one and marked 40 years since it first came out. They're playing the record in full, and that includes songs they've never played live before, so you'll hear the album as a whole rather than just the well-known bits. Around that, they're slotting in the hits most people know by heart: 'Great Southern Land', 'Hey Little Girl' and 'No Promises'.
It's a long way back to 1987, but the tour is built on that specific record, so the setlist is more of a deep dive into one album than a best-of. If you've only ever heard the singles, you'll get the rest of the album alongside them. If you've got the record on a shelf, this is the chance to hear it played through from start to finish.
