Live rock 'n' roll concert by Dead City Ruins at King Street Hotel, with free admission.
Dead City Ruins are playing the King Street Hotel on Friday 25 September, starting at 20:00. They're a rock 'n' roll band from Croydon, Melbourne, and they've been at it since 2010. They describe themselves as five young men playing high-energy rock 'n' roll, and they've spent a fair bit of their career on the road.
Their debut album, Midnight Killer, came out in early 2011, and they spent more than two years touring the northern hemisphere, opening for Rival Sons, Mastodon and Wolfmother. They returned in 2013 to record a self-titled follow-up, then spent 2014 as the opening act for Skid Row and Ugly Kid Joe. Their third album, Never Say Die, was produced by James Lewis of Arctic Monkeys and released in April 2018 through the German label AFM Records. Fronted by vocalist Steve Welsh, the band toured Europe supporting U.D.O. in early 2019.
The current line-up is Sean Blanchard and Tommy Tbone on guitar, Steve Welsh on vocals and Nick Trajanovski on drums. They're playing as a four-piece, so you'll get two guitars, vocals and drums on the night.
