Danielle Walker: Bittersweet

Danielle Walker brings her show Bittersweet to the Newcastle Comedy Club on Saturday 24 October, with the set starting at 6:00 pm. It's a solo stand-up show, so it's just her on stage for the evening.

If you haven't come across her yet, Walker is a comedian who's spent the last few years popping up on some of the bigger comedy shows. She's appeared on Taskmaster, Gold Diggers and Thank God You're Here, so if any of those ring a bell, you've probably seen her in a guest or ensemble spot. Bittersweet is her own hour, and it's the one she's taking on the road.

She's also picked up a fair few awards along the way. She's won RAW, Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and The Pinder Prize, and the show also earned a nomination for Most Outstanding show. It's a good bit of ground to cover before she steps up to the mic here.

The show runs at the Newcastle Comedy Club, 311 Hunter St, Newcastle NSW 2300, on Saturday 24 October, starting at 6:00 pm.
