Award-winning stand-up comedian Daniel Connell returns with his brand-new show, Prairie Dog, at the Newcastle Comedy Club.
Daniel Connell is back at the Newcastle Comedy Club on Saturday 19 September, bringing his new show Prairie Dog to the city for one night only. It's a solo stand-up set, and since it's a single date, it's the only chance to catch it here.
Connell is an award-winning comedian, and you might recognise him from Have You Been Paying Attention? โ that's where a lot of people first got to know his work. Prairie Dog is a brand-new show, so this is a first look at the material he's been working on rather than a run of old favourites. It's a full hour of stand-up, and he's the only name on the bill, so the whole night is his.

The show is running at the Newcastle Comedy Club, 139 Maitland Road in Islington. Doors open at 5:30pm, and the show starts at 6pm sharp, so it's an early one โ you'll be out and about well before the night is over. Tickets are between A$25 and A$32, and it's currently listed as sold out, so if you're looking for a spot, you'll need to keep an eye on any last-minute releases.
