A festive mid-year celebration on the water with Christmas decorations, music, a licensed bar and a Christmas buffet dinner aboard the MV Calmer.
All Event Cruises are running a Christmas In July Dinner Cruise from the Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal on Saturday 25 July, a three-hour trip around Newcastle Harbour aboard the MV Calmer. It's a mid-year Christmas celebration on the water, with the boat decked out in decorations and music playing throughout the cruise. There's a licensed bar on board, so you can grab a drink and settle in for the evening.
The main draw is the Christmas buffet dinner, prepared by the on-board chef. The roast selection covers the basics: roast lamb, roast chicken, and honey glazed ham, with pesto penne pasta on the side. There's also a seasonal dessert table to finish on. If you're bringing the kids, every child on board gets a present.
A few practical things to keep in mind before you head down: prams and strollers aren't allowed on board, and there are no highchairs provided, so plan accordingly if you're coming with little ones. The cruise departs from the Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal at 242-258 Wharf Road, Newcastle.
