Metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada performs live at The Truth in Nashville, with support from Motionless In White, Dayseeker and Dark Divine.
The Devil Wears Prada play The Truth on Saturday, November 7, with Motionless In White, Dayseeker and Dark Divine opening. It's a full bill, and the headliners are touring Flowers, their ninth full-length album on Solid State, which they describe as their most honest and heartfelt work yet.
If you've followed them for a while, you know the sound they've built. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, they've spent their career alternating crushing heaviness with heart-wrenching melodies. Some of their older records have stuck around in the conversation: Revolver named 2009's With Roots Above and Branches Below one of the five greatest metalcore albums, and both the Zombie EP in 2010 and Dead Throne in 2011 debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. More recently, 2021's ZII was their sixth straight Top 5 entry on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart, and 2022's Color Decay sold out their biggest shows worldwide, with Metal Hammer calling it maybe their finest hour.
The lineup on stage is Mike Hranica on vocals, Jeremy DePoyster on guitar and vocals, Kyle Sipress on guitar, Jonathan Gering on keys, synths, programming and percussion, and Giuseppe Capolupo on drums. The Nashville date is part of a tour that also stops at VyStar Pavilion in Savannah, the Kia Center in Orlando, Peoria Civic Center and Target Center in Minneapolis.
