Iliza Shlesinger: Free Nights & Weekends

Iliza Shlesinger brings her stand-up show Free Nights & Weekends to the Ryman Auditorium on Friday, January 29, 2027. It's a single night of comedy at one of Nashville's most recognizable stages, and if you've followed her work, you know the kind of energy she brings to a room.

Shlesinger has built a massive presence on Netflix, with six specials under her belt, including Hot Forever from 2022. Her seventh, A Different Animal, is coming to Amazon Prime Video, so this tour sits right in the middle of that transition. If you're curious about how she puts these together, there's also Over & Over, her 2019 special that worked as a "fan-u-mentary" following the making of her specials.

She doesn't just stay on the comedy stage, either. She wrote, executive produced, and starred in the romantic comedy Good On Paper for Netflix, and she's worked across a few different genres: opposite Mark Wahlberg in Spenser Confidential, as Shay Marigold in the MAX series The Righteous Gemstones, and in Pieces of a Woman (2020) and Instant Family (2018). Beyond the screen, she's published two books, Girl Logic (2017) and All Things Aside: Absolutely Correct Opinions (2023), and hosts the podcast AIA: Ask Iliza Anything.

It's a stand-up show, so the evening is just her and a microphone. The show starts at 7 PM on Friday, January 29, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
