30th annual benefit concert honoring John Hiatt, with Keith Urban, Rosanne Cash, Steve Earle, and more, supporting Cumberland Heights.
The Concert for Cumberland Heights returns to the Ryman Auditorium on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 7:30 PM. This year marks the 30th edition of the benefit, and it's billed as the longest-running benefit concert in the Ryman's history.
The night is titled Riding With The King: A Tribute to John Hiatt, and the lineup reads like a who's who of the songwriters and players who've crossed paths with him over the years. Keith Urban, Rosanne Cash, Steve Earle, Rodney Crowell, Lilly Hiatt, Shawn Colvin, Richard Thompson, Robert Earl Keen, and Pat McLaughlin are all on the bill, with a special appearance by John Hiatt himself. It's a big gathering of voices from across the folk, country, and Americana traditions, all coming together for one night.
There's a bit more to this anniversary than the number. The concert was started 30 years ago by Hiatt to support adolescents and young adults in recovery from addiction, and it's raised more than $3.8 million for the John Hiatt Fund for Adolescent and Young Adult Treatment. That fund pays for the ARCH Academy and the facility's Young Adult programs. This year also happens to be Cumberland Heights' 60th anniversary of providing addiction treatment to individuals and families across Middle Tennessee and beyond, so the two milestones land at the same time.
