Work Wednesday session with CAPI and Twin Cities at the Minneapolis Central library to connect with organizations offering free job training and support services.
Work Wednesday returns to the Minneapolis Central Library on Wednesday, October 21, from 2 PM to 4 PM. It's a session dedicated to job training and resources, and it's free to attend.
The main draw is the chance to connect directly with organizations that provide free job training. Instead of searching through a dozen different websites and trying to figure out which programs are actually a good fit, you can talk to people from those organizations in person. It's a way to get a clearer picture of what's available and how to get started without the back-and-forth of emails and phone calls.
Beyond the training programs, the session covers support services for job seekers. That side of things usually includes the practical stuff that can slow you down when you're looking for workβthings like resume help, interview prep, or navigating the application process. It's as much about the tools to get the job as it is about the training to do it.
Every week we pick π the 5 best π things to do in Minneapolis and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

This particular session features CAPI and Twin Cities, two of the organizations you'll find there. They're part of the mix of resources on hand, so you can hear from them directly about what they offer. If you've been thinking about a career change or just need a bit of help getting your foot in the door, it's a good place to start. It runs from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Minneapolis Central Library, and it's free.
