Wicked Hearts & Dark Days

Wicked Hearts & Dark Days takes over the James Ballentine VFW Post 246 on Saturday, October 17, with a full night of electronic music. The bill is presented by Nobool Presents and brings together Fluid Frequencies, Dutchess, and The Apothecarium as the main draw, with Dutchess, EYLXR, SZYRA, ReNNo, and Rain Drop filling out the lineup.

It's more than just a DJ set, though. The night is built around an all-woman, non-binary, and queer lineup of local artists, DJs, painters, flow artists, and vendors. The organizers describe it as a safe, welcoming space for self-expression, meant to spotlight underrepresented talent in the local EDM scene. So, along with the music, you'll find art and vendors in the mix.

If you're not already familiar with the names, it's a good chance to catch a few local acts in one go. The lineup runs from Dutchess through EYLXR, SZYRA, ReNNo, and Rain Drop, and the whole thing is held at the VFW Post 246 at 2916 Lyndale Avenue South in Minneapolis. It's a 21+ event, so bring your ID.

Doors open at 10 PM, and tickets are $13 online and $15 at the door.
