Australian indie rock band Vacations play First Avenue in Minneapolis with support from TWEN.
Vacations play First Avenue on Sunday, March 7, 2027, with TWEN opening. They're touring their fourth studio album, Pursuit Of Anything, which is the work of a group of friends who've been making music together since they were barely out of their teenage years. The band formed in Newcastle, Australia, back in 2015, and they describe their sound as woozy guitar popāa blend of indie, jangle, and lo-fi that pulls from punk, pop punk, pop, alternative, and rock.
Singer Burns describes the title of the new record as happiness as a feedback loop, the idea of how you keep chasing the next thing. It's their fourth full-length, following Changes, Forever in Bloom, and No Place Like Home. Along the way, they've put out singles like "Young," which went double platinum in the US, and "Telephones," which went platinum. Between those, they've racked up over a billion streams and have performed on US television.
