Opening night screening of the documentary 'Noga' about Israeli alt-pop artist Noga Erez, followed by an opening night toast.
The Fine Line opens the Twin Cities Jewish Film Festival on Tuesday, October 20, with a screening of Noga, a documentary about Israeli alt-pop artist Noga Erez. The film runs 95 minutes, and an opening night toast follows the credits. It's the first of thirteen days of Jewish cinema in the city.
If you're not familiar with Erez, she's a collaborator with artists like Missy Elliott, and Noga catches her at a complicated moment. She was preparing to release a major-label album when war broke out at home and tensions flared with her longtime creative partner, Ori Rousso. The documentary follows her through that personal, artistic, and political crossroads, dealing with fame, love, protest, and the weight of speaking from a global stage. It's an unfiltered look at an artist navigating those things in real time.
Before it landed here, Noga was an Official Selection at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival and earned praise from Billie Eilish. The film is directed by Benji Bergmann and Jono Bergmann.
